Last night I got a glass of red wine and amazing tapas with Victoria. Then we bought the biggest bar of chocolate possible. I went home and Kelsey and my host mom weren’t there so I took a luxurious shower and shaved my legs and spent forever cleaning my body. I ate a hamburger for dinner and more chocolate and spent the night in bed downloading music. Sometimes you just need nights like that.
Dearest, loveliest Elizabeth! What do I not owe you! You taught me a lesson, hard indeed at first, but most advantageous. By you, I was properly humbled. I came to you without a doubt of my reception. You showed me how insufficient were all my pretensions to please a woman worthy of being pleased.
